ABOUT US

We are students at the University of Alabama who proudly call Africa home — whether by birth, naturalization, or association.

Our organization brings students together and promotes cultural awareness. We support the advancement of students of African descent and anyone interested in learning about the continent.

We aim to deepen our understanding of Africa’s diverse peoples and rich heritage. We also support and encourage one another in our academic pursuits at UA.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • To bring together and foster fraternal relationships among all students of African descent, as well as those who wish to identify with the continent of Africa, regardless of race, ethnicity, or religion.
  • To encourage and support student involvement in all UA (University of Alabama) campus activities.
  • To aid and welcome all incoming African students.
  • To work closely with other student organizations, staff, and faculty at the University of Alabama to promote scholarship, fellowship, and service.
